Frivolous, fribbling, frabjous Friday – POETS day, for those who work the whole week, a free day for me. It’s a day for pottering around the house and catching up with friends. Don’t expect anything too serious here on a Friday, but do expect anything and everything.
Here’s one of my favourite photos from my trip to Florence in April 2011. It’s not the greatest shot, but it brings back lots of happy memories of narrow streets full of people and motorbikes, good Italian food and the slightly fusty smell of an old-world city on a warm day. One of these two musicians had been playing (busking really) in the piazza where I’d just had lunch.
